The Card (Nonet Poem)

The Card (Nonet Poem)

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

As I came across the yellowed card
Unfolding many memories
Life pages of long ago
Thinking of those I miss
The lines written there
Slowly became
Soft whispers
My eyes...
Blurred.

Why would anyone be rude about this? You wrote nothing offensive. Besides, there's a cute little kitty...

Oh yes, I like the poem.

Thank you Marie. When I first joined writerscafe I got some nasty comments that bordered on sarcasm.. read more

People are still using the comment box as a "chat room"...I fear I am sometimes guilty...
I enjoyed your use of this form. Form poetry can be fun to write and difficult at the same time. This is well done. You told your story very well, indeed.
