The Touch Of Eden

The Touch Of Eden

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello
"

A poem for my friend who is dying from brain cancer (aged 38).

"

No words left to say
Her voice is all gone
In her weakened days
Her health now undone.

It's Cancer again
That Stealer of dreams!
He is marking the end
No more life to redeem.

Her one single touch
In silent motions
Can speak so much
A depth of emotion.

She thanked with her eyes
Spoke with her touch
With her my heart dies
It was just too much.

Goodbye dear Eden
You will always remain
Forever my friend
Till will meet... once again.

(After the poem "Too Early Her Sunset" -this is a final tribute to Eden)
