Just Another Dream

Just Another Dream

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

Last night I dropped a dream
It turned into a moonbeam,
I tried so hard to chase its hue
And when I looked,  it became a dew.
Too soft to hold and crystal pure
Fell on a flower so demure.
As the Night in silent serenade
Watched the tiny moonbeam slowly fade,
Then with the light of coming Dawn
I woke and found,  the dream had gone!
I tried to recall if the dream was mine
But the Day had turned it into sunshine.

A very beautiful dream. Good to chase moonbeams and wake up to the sun. I enjoyed the field trip you took me with your words. Thank you for the excellent poem.
