Just Another DreamA Poem by cynthiabuhainbaelloLast night I dropped a dream It turned into a moonbeam, I tried so hard to chase its hue And when I looked, it became a dew. Too soft to hold and crystal pure Fell on a flower so demure. As the Night in silent serenade Watched the tiny moonbeam slowly fade, Then with the light of coming Dawn I woke and found, the dream had gone! I tried to recall if the dream was mine But the Day had turned it into sunshine. © 2012 cynthiabuhainbaello |
