Your Diamonds

Your Diamonds

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello
"

Writing is like drilling diamonds with our words through creativity.

"

I do not own the hand

That writes freely your words
Nor will I try to tell you
How and what to write
No demands here, my friend
No selfish impositions
To stifle the ink that is yours,
The feelings only you can have
Little diamonds drilled
By your creative mind
They are your treasures
Yours alone!
So I in deep affection
Set you free
To be YOU
To lay before us
Your own colors
Your Jewels.

The message of this poem is so universal and so nice. We are all unique and different in our own ways. At the same time, we are also artists in our own ways. The differences should not be a barrier to paying respect to one another's thoughts, feelings, doings, works, etc. Respect is such a heavy word and you were able to encapsulate it in just a few lines.
