Phoenix

Phoenix

A Poem by Sira YR
"

One rises from the ashes ten times stronger than the enemies which placed her there

"

From thick ashes

And blackened dust

She wipes the crusted tears from her eyes

And nurses the wounds that mar her stained skin

From fires forged

By burning hatred

She is born anew

With singular purpose

And will of fire to burn

Blaze

All her enemies will cower

And all her foes tremble

All her friends will watch in awe

Fear

Fright

Reverence

For with a thunderous cry

She rises

Dusting off the burnt ashes

Remnants of a lifetime

Lost

Foreign

Deceased

And with a mighty

Final

Godly cry

She says

I am reborn
