This poem was inspired by Sapientiam's This Cold, Beautiful Life :). It really made me reflect. Make sure to check it out, review it, love it, and have a nice day.

First off, you amazed me by the structure of the stanzas. Each line seemed to never end, continuing the emotions expressed, as if they would never disappear. I can't really explain it right, but it was something that caught my eye.
Second, as I progressed through the poem, I kept looking at the picture. I love how you told more of a story than just the feeling of contentment through tragedy. Those phases of life matched perfectly the tale that you told and it made the poem stronger as a whole.
Lastly, the message. What is so precious about life is that things are never eternal. While that may seem despairing to some, it is actually quite a beautiful thing. Our memories gives our lives value and meaning, to look back on those days of happiness and just... Appreciate what life has given us, despite the fact that it was also taken away. This truly touched me and you should be proud of yourself.
Wonderful job, Raysira!

Wow ... this is an amazing write. Like Sapientiam, I loved how you structured your stanzas. It allowed your words to resonate with such clarity and emotion. You also did a great job at turning the piece from sorrowful to cathartic at the end.
Great work, and I'll be sure to read the piece that inspired this one!

Solace! That's one of my favorite words in the English language! In your poem, you guide us to where we could find it. With it comes peace and comfort. Very deep thoughts and powerful words and a well-structured poem. Thank you for sharing.

I'm just the lonely writer expressing her thoughts through the art of the written word.
I find that writing and art to be a special way to express myself in a forum with people who are like mysel.. more..
