Hope

Hope

A Poem by Sira YR
"

Just something I came up with on the fly...enjoy!

"
Let hope ring....

in the streets,
in the alleys,
in the markets,
in those desolate places,
those dark corners where demons lie
and poor, weary souls abide

Let hope ring...

For all is not lost yet

I'm glad that you enjoyed it :)
Your words speak so strongly into our world today. With so much darkness, so many cold hearts, it seems that we all need to rise in this beautiful sunrise of hope.

I definitely will :) and make sure you keep writing as well
It's a very humaistic thing to wish for hope for all. If hope is a seed then many things can grow from it, revolution, justice, equality, freedom, etc.
Without the seed - without any semblance of hope there is only despair - which is an abyss from which nothing can grow.
This is a real universal call - well done Rayanna.

Thank you so much Tony Jordan. Your review is greatly appreciated :)
I love the message of this piece and how you structured it. It reminded me of the last part of Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech in which he repeated the phrase "Let freedom ring." This poem had the same essence about it. It expresses an optimistic viewpoint while recognizing the harships of life. I felt like the last three lines of the second stanza conveyed this well ... may hope reach all.

nicely licked!
yeah. hope's all what we have now-a-days in this world even this whole freaking universe's based on this stupid world called "HOPE". i call it stupid cos, sometimes, it makes people feel so good esp. when they've lived up to their hopes, and in rest of the cases, it breaks many hearts down into pieces, perhaps, whatever it is, yes.. hope is all what we need to heal life, & walk the pavements of roads. kinda very inspirational poetry you bleed in. good work here!
