To A Very Special Kiricle

This poem is dedicated to one of my closest friends- Kiry. Hope you like it!!!

Strong yet gentle is she

Sweet and kind

Having a strong frame 

And an intellectual and creative mind

A glimmer of hope and a beacon of light is she

Bringing hope and happiness to a place oh so desolate

Illuminating and eliminating the darkness 

Speaking, shouting loud yet silently:

"Draw unto me oh ye of little hope."

A source of inspiration is she

That demands to never give up

Striving, surviving, only by her will

Saying only when I have conquered

Will my best ever be good enough

Does she not know that power she possesses?

To draw others nigh? 

To unite the masses 

To encourage them to reach for the skies?

Does she not know that she is so important?

So necessary?

So loved by all?

Does she not know that she is indeed,

Very special, 

Oh so special to me?

Oh, Raysira... This is simply gorgeous. The contrasts between this character, from speaking loudly and silently to striving and surviving, shows how much she doesn't realize her own impacts on others. The strength of one, only noticeable by outsiders but blind to the giver, is such a common trait in people like this person. You must cherish your friend a lot; I can tell. Great job!

This poem was meant to describe one of my closest friends; a person who i hold in high esteem. She has been through so much in her life and yet she keeps on fighting on... this poem is dedicated to her.
