The Artist

The Artist

A Poem by Carrie Ann Golden
"

The artist is unlike the rest of society.

"

An artist’s mind

Unlike the rest of the masses

Is a visionary kind

Reality to him

May be pretend to others

He bends on a whim

I really liked this, artists try to imagine the impossible, drawing it, painting it, making it ever so possible. They truly have a creative mind Short yet a beautiful message!

Very interesting and creative write. I liked it. Can't help but to think that when the artist bends reality, it in return is reflected back on him, takes it's toll, and breaks him in return. The price you have to pay? CD

Thank you so much for reading and commenting! I really like your take on the poem! :)
Short and sweet! Though I did have to dock some points due to my distaste for the gender-neutral he.
