Different Bonds

Different Bonds

A Poem by PANTHER

Some bonds pay 7and1/4% interest yearly.
Some other bonds I chose cost me dearly.
There are bonds we made as children, playing at a game.
The bonds we make as adults, aren't nearly quite the same.
Bonds of trust, bonds of faith, bonds to live a life on earth.
Bonds to make a living, bonds of love that start at birth.
We will break the bonds we no longer feel we need.
We will break the bonds to fulfill the deed.
For the bonds I've made, judge me not.
For those bonds gave me what I've got.
When I break the bonds I've made.
These you judge to make my grade.
