I PROMISE

The five stages of grief.

Denial covers me

From the deep pain of loss

It provides safe shelter

Like the sign of the cross

 

Anger consumes my soul

Blames myself for his death

God is not merciful

I blame for his last breath

 

Bargaining for God’s chance

Please let my father live

I kneel down to all saints

A good heart I will give

 

Depression slowly comes

Tears for my father run

Aches and pains embrace me

All my desire is done

 

Acceptance is a friend

Wherever you are Pa

I hope you are so proud

I will take care of Ma
