You're a poet not a lover

You told me that I am the source of your power

discover, uncover, clever, bluffer

In the end you made me suffer

You're a poet not a partner

You told me about roses and flowers

Comparing me to petals

But what did I get?

Not even a chocolate

How pathetic

You're a poet not a swain

You say about getting stars

Spending hours on a train

A love to shower

In the end I got pain

You're a poet stick to it

Don't forego with love and be heroic

If you do

Be sure the words you use you'll prove it

Or else heaven and earth for love will move it.

Ok, first let me say this is a lovely a d powerful piece once again my lady, love how you penned this, and secondly some people play with words like they are paper airplanes, as for myself every love poem I write has a meaning deep within my soul, and were written for the love of my life, who insisted that I post them here to share with the world, so I cannot relate to someone using such powerful words in such a week and careless way....Makes me sad to think about, thanks for sharing this write my lady
