A NightA Poem by C.A. LucasI'm in the black I don't need the light It only shapes things, Adds color I don't need We're back to back With no sight This is the beginning And I'm ready to feed There is the creature He's right here We only need collide Although there is fear It is merely nature And despite the fear We both decide We've come too near Too near to resist. Controlling one's fate May seem wrong But still I lurched at him And we kissed.
