Out Here It Doesn't MatterA Poem by C.A. LucasOut here it doesn't matter if... I eat with my hands. I go around half naked. I do things differently. It doesn't matter if... I'm alone. I talk to myself. My friends are animals. Out here it doesn't matter if... I am always dirty. I am rude. I am not educated. I am myself. I express myself. I love myself. I hate myself. I dwell on dark thoughts. I slap myself. I always resolve in the end. Out here it doesn't matter if... I am me. Because I want to do Want I want to do. But others Want to do What they want to do. And sometimes The worlds must Collide And we must give in. That's why I'm out here, where... Out here it just doesn't matter.
