but also quite strange

LIGHT

is easy to understand

but difficult to grasp

LAUGHTER

is easy to start

but hard to stop

ANIMALS

come off as normal

but are oddly weird

PEOPLE

have permanent facades

but they are removable

NATURE

is forever lasting

but rapidly decreasing

STARS

are well known

but remain a mystery

DREAMS

can become a reality

but that is impossible

WRITING

is a calming action

but is truly frustrating

PEOPLE

are disgusting

but also 

BEAUTIFUL

Wow, Chloe! This is one of my favorites! I have to say that each stanza seemed spot on. I kept waiting for one of those to not work, but they all did! I would like to see more of this in your character dialogue. Why? Because it makes interesting characters, of course, and interesting characters can do boring things in a great book! : ) And my favorite was about People's facades being permanent but removable. It reminds me that I am not my mind, but the observer of it, which is being, not thinking.

Great stanza! My favourite is ``People are disgusting but also beautiful.'' It reminds me of inner beauty VS outer beauty. My Second favourite was ``Laughter Is easy to start And hard to stop" Reminds me of the importance of Laughter in one's life. Great write.Keep it up! I really enjoyed this piece!

You did a good job of examining your thoughts on each thing, and I really liked the way you presented it. I didn't completely agree with the DREAMS one, as you see, I think they can. :)

Thanks so much! One day I was just thinking about how I, as an eleven year old, need to know more about light waves and reflections than I do. And that is was lead me to this poem. So it's really funny that's your favorite, because it's what started it all!

I know you probably haven't thought about this poem in a while, but I just wanted to say to all of you readers, that the dreams stanza is not saying that dreams becoming a reality is impossible.

"But that is impossible" is mocking anybody who does believe that. Dreams can always come true :)
