check this out ut. this is my writing process and yes it is all true
My writing Process
The
process I go through when I start writing a new story is: I research what I
want to write about first, then I act out the different scenarios finally, I
start to write my story. First, I research what I want to write about. I will
look the material up on internet. I will look up possible web sites that may
have the history, mythology, or lore that revolves around the topic. I will
also look for books that include the topic I am searching for, for example; I
have been reading the Book of Angels, written by Todd Jordan and illustrated
by Ruth Thomson and L.A. Williams. This book looks at the different religions
and writes about the neutral conclusion they got out of the text. This book is
a very neutral interpretation of angels. I have been reading this for the sake
of notes. I will also look on the internet about these for clarification.
Secondly, I will act out the plot or plots. I do make sure I am in another room
to do such things. What I do is I kind of role play, for example; I have
already acted out the beginning of the story. When I act out these roles it
helps me get more into the characters of my story. Believe me, I know that it
is a strange way to understand my characters a little better but this is what I
do. I used this same method when I was writing my Revenant Code story. This
method helps me with writers block as well. Finally, I start to write the story.
In this final step I just start writing. When I am finished with the story that
is when I start the character maps. After I am done writing I read over it then
I start with the spider diagram and brain storming. This enables me to go back
and correct or add something a little extra in my stories. This process of researching, acting out, and
writing might work for the reader so just go out there and write.
The process I go through when I start writing a new story (this seems to be an irrelevant sentence in the piece so it would be better suited as the title of the piece) First, I research what I want to write about, and then I look up the material. The material I look up is possible web sites that may have the history, mythology, or lore that revolves around the topic. I will also look for books that include the topic I am searching for. for example; I have been reading the Book of Angels, written by Todd Jordan and illustrated by Ruth Thomson and L.A. Williams. ( I feel as though this sentence is irrelevant to what has been said so far.) This book looks at the different religions and writes about the neutral conclusion they got out of the text. This book is a very neutral interpretation of angels. I have been reading this for the sake of notes. ( This sentence is also irrelevant) I do make sure I am in another room to do such things. (This sentence is rather irrelevant from what has been said)
Finally, I start to write the story. (This is a conclusion sentence and as such should be the last sentence written in the piece)

Now to answer the above question when I'm writing I often act out the parts in my head.
WICKED! my writing process comes from my dreams. yeah once i had a scary dream it was of a clown and i made into a book well almost its on my page, but your way is so much more productive :P
You have a very systematic method of writing which turns out to be authentic as designated in your pieces. Bestselling authors are sure to have done this and I hope that you will be one too. You have too many roles not just as a write but an actor, director and even a producer. You could have a movie anytime. Inspiration also plays a big role when you are a writer because it helps eliminate writer's block. I have not done this process but I'm sure to try it out. Thanks for the tips!
I admire your courage in putting all of this out there, and I think it's really great that you're so dedicated to your writing. I think that acting out is indeed one of the most important parts, because, like you said, you can better know your character and therefore, better write them.
Your hard work is incredible, and I look forward to reading your works!

I thought this was fascinating- I guess everyone does this differently. I read about an author (published) who spent 3-6 months planning (detective fiction) and then about a month writing which seemed odd to me as you would have thought it would have been the other way around. Like the idea of acting out the parts!
Hey,everyone... i've reading over my stories and jesus my grammer is terrible. I am going to go over them and do lot of editing. so i apologize, i just so into my stories I forget the basics. I am now.. more..
