is it me or the world

just how I have been feeling here of late

in current times I feel so cold

I tend to have the mind set of the old

never trusting, never opening. silence of contemplation

should I end it this bitterness, or should embrace for the lessons

I know not what to do.

 waiting for you

who you may ask I know not

but when I think of the possibilities that we never meet

 I find impossible in these days to believe

I feel alone though I live  withothers

but some words can never be muttered

why have I become bitter and jaded

who knows this life runs a toll

am I to blame or is the world.

I feel like this quite a bit, too, though I am upset that you feel this way. It's hard to tell if it's worth it. Always feeling alone even when you are surrounded by people. Even being around your friends becomes a chore because you don't know who is really your friend these days, or who is just waiting to stab you in the back. But there are people out there who will always have your back, and make you feel complete. It's just hard along the way.
