Do you remember that day?

I know I do.

We sat and spoke more than we’d ever done before.

And nothing else mattered.

Nothing at all.

It was so bright,

There was so much sky,

But I wished we were one step closer.

I was most certainly at my worst,

Yet you continued to make those stupid little jokes that I loved.

And chat.

And laugh.

I was in bed that night,

Not sleeping as normal,

Staring at the window above the next bed,

Listening to pop-punk,

Unable to deal with how much I felt for you.

You made me feel that day like I could’ve

Moved mountains if asked.

So thanks.

Honestly.

So much.
