One night stand

One night stand

A Poem by Flightless Bird

"

I put my clothes back on.

He said "This meant nothing, don't over think it."

I stared at him, still naked on the bed.

 "I'm not like other girls."

So many other things I could have said.

He wants me to want him, need him.

I don't drown anymore,

I know how to swim.

Had an itch that I needed scratched

He was that for me.

I have one scar,

the deepest by far.

No one can ever touch it,

So don't flatter yourself, s**t.
