Rarely do we ever search for gems

in the humble room of knowledge.

But you’ll see their nobility stems

from a dream that held them hostage.

Prepare for the age of enlightenment

from the citrine that sparkles fair like the sun.

Her wisdom speaks of an environment

where modernity is the base of reason. 

And the ruby’s glow is so visceral.

Her story is not one to be lame.

Its background entails the stern principle

that a vile trait can put you to shame.

The wit of the turquoise is très complex.

One must study his expression to grasp.

As it changes from one mien to the next,

the solution will fade away like gas. 

Pursue these treasures while you have the time,

and take advantage of all their merit.

Their attributes are so keen and divine

that, in time, a gem you will inherit.

I love the way you bring these gems to life... and explain to us the history and glory of them all...your writing is excellent and a very fine topic to draw from; I personally love gemstones, and the way you "show them off " is very interesting....I hope i inherit some myself (although I have been giving them to my grandchildren!)
