"

for a contest

"
The night was dark and I was unseen
across the street looking from afar
moving closer I see the light
I see her through the window
Moving closer, I reach the door
I open it slowly creeping in
I hear her above me walking to bed
Sneak to the stairs so silently
hoping I remain unheard
from atop the stairs I see the closed door
I sneak closer, closer, closer,
until I sneak past, I reach my room
silently I enter, and creep to my bed
I feel as though I'm home free but,
there, on me bed a note....
it reads:

Jessica, I know you are sneaking out again, stuffing pillows under your blanket can not fool me, just make sure you are safe, I wouldn't know what to do if I ever lost you

Love, Mom

I fall asleep that night with a smile upon my face silently promising never to sneak out on my mom again...

Buzz_Reynolds
just a weird little story I wrote for a contest tried to make it seem like it was some creepy guy stalking a girl at first and then twist it into a girl just trying to sneak back into her house, I think it is interesting haha!

I was soooooo scarred thinking someone was going to die. I loved the twist at the end. It was sad and heart warming at the same time for me.

I think you accomplished your goal! It had me fooled at first, and kept me hooked. Good job!

There's a lot of possibility here. I see it more as a short story than a poem, or maybe a poetic short story.
