What i'd giveA Poem by Neville
I'd give you my last breath up until my timely death, My chest struggles with the emotions it juggles through these tests.
I'm bugged by the rugged judgements I'm facing, I guess it's just best To leave now cause I know my causes in this life will never be met. I'm a mess, in my every day life though I strive to deflect, The effect of feeling bunkered, punctured and under a threat. A truth truly unreachable that weighs heavily set in stone, I'm never alone, though I condone I'll always be on my own. My quest on this earth is an immovable force, forced from the coldness in my bones stained from all the fake homes. We walk through storms to prepare ourselves for the knowledge it may form, We search, reaching for the blue sky it leaves behind to be reborn. I'm always left torn between two worlds, hunched over and curled, Hurled into an abyss that never never harbours a dawn. Truth be told I'm done with trying to conform to the norm, I'm waiting patiently accepting theres no Roses, just thorns. © 2024 Neville
