I wrote this for my girlfriend, her name is zoe. Her name means life and for reasons I can't share we can't be together right now.....

Let me start with something you should know,
Life is the name you carry so it's important you know exactly how I see you glow.
I'm far from being biased but I think you need showing,
Why these words flow so easily cause I believe we're still growing.
Tomorrow's unspoken so another door can be opened,
I only have to close my eyes to see where we're going.
I'm tunnel visioned on you, so you've go to realise I'm overflowing with love for you,
So finally my coldness has been broken.
Finally I see depth without a fear of feeling frozen, and I'll never be outspoken when I'm defending 'your potion'.
Earth's motion can't move mountains like the way you part oceans,
Like Moses lead the Israelites, your legacy deserves promotion.
Basically I'm just trying to say that any day without you is f&£#!"g hopeless,
So when the day comes when I'm back with you and our son, I won't feel homeless ♥️

A very beautiful, emotive, delicate write sensitively expressed with loving care and concern for Zoe. I love how the poet expresses his thoughts and allows his feelings for his beloved to flow all the way down the poem like a river running to the sea. The poet paints a grim picture of life without Zoe to the point where he feels homeless.
