Dear Mom

Dear Mom

A Poem by Augusta
"

Sometimes parents just have to let go!

"

Dear Mom
we are two worlds apart,
so very different, I don’t want to break your heart

I am not perfect, I seldom go to church,
That is what you see, but that is not really me
Please don't judge me, please don't cry
I'll go to heaven, if tonight I die.

You are a wonderful Mom
the kind you seldom get
But just remember, my relation with God is utmost respect

So different from you, the way I live
I misunderstand, something you don't deserve!
But this I can promise, I know the Lord well
I speak to him often and yes, I pray as well

So the next time you judge, and cry for my soul.
The next time you pray for me to be whole
Ask God to show you, I am not a lost soul

Now I beg of you Mom,
Stop interfere what God already has won
I belong to Him, my life is in His hands
He is the only judge in heaven and on land

It is not for you to see, what God has in me
I'm begging you Mom, please
Let me be!
