Time

Time

A Poem by Augusta

If time was never and fear was forever

Would it be fair to say that nothing stays together?

If an hour was a minute and a year was the end

Would age make the difference to still pretend?

If great was nothing and money was a loss

Would poor be the better, no judge to cross

If colour did not exist and no dream to change

Would people be the same and not find it strange

Perhaps all is not perfect, perhaps all is not well

But truthfully say, time will tell
