Blocking You Out

Blocking You Out

A Poem by Broken Hearted Faux

I turn up my volume
Headphones on, I can't hear you
It's full volume

I don't want to hear those
Words that tell me I'll be alone
From here on out

You promised to change me
Turn me out
Exposed myself to you

You blame me for your actions
Now you want to leave me?
But I can't witness it

Remember it when I am
Blocking you out
You said I'd never be alone

But you lied to my face
So I crank up the metal songs
Feeling my soul heal
As you walk away
