Night's WingA Poem by Broken Hearted Faux
A butterfly's wing
Beats softly against the sky And hushes the night The sky darkens out Gray clouds slowly fade away All is well tonight Owls are curious Their eyes watching everyone Wondering who's awake Mice scatter around Bowling over one another They play a new game It's a white garden Bathed in the beautiful moon And the stars whisper Dew clutches the grass As if to have life itself Praying to their moon Night is wonderful You just haven't seen it yet So, I say goodnight © 2011 Broken Hearted FauxAuthor's Note
