Question Exhisting

Question Exhisting

A Poem by Broken Hearted Faux

I know what it's like
To scream down a broken alleyway
To surrender to those above you
Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
Wishing so much you never became?
Throw a fit at the sky
And blame God because you can't seem
To figure out  who to actually blame
When it's all your fault.
Wake up and have a toll on your shoulders
Wish you were someone else
Promised you'd run away
Become a loner
Someone who can't see what's right there
Right in front of them
A being who's scared
Who can't get away
A soul screaming to be released
Caged without so much as a key
Pessimistic, wondering who they are
Why they're here
And why the black cloak with his wings
Mighty scythe, and veil won't come
Take you into the night
Into the ground so cold
It feels like home.
