The Moon FallsA Poem by Broken Hearted FauxWhere does the moon fall? What do you mean little one? Well look up at it Yes. I see it
It’s never there in the morning No. It is not So it must fall out of the sky Where do you think it falls?
The ocean, where the waves catch it But if the ocean catches it, how does it get back up there? The stars go back down there and pull it out Is that the reason there is star fish?
Yes. I can feel it in my whiskers And what do your whiskers tell you? That the moon is round and white like cream Do you think you can taste it?
No. It has too many holes in it Maybe the moon is cheese. My tail tells me it’s not cheese What does your tail tell you it is?
God’s eye And the stars are angels? Yep. Even the one’s in the ocean The ocean that catches it each morning?
That exact one And the ocean is God’s hands? Cupping itself around the moon Each and every morning
