Lost Kitten

Lost and blind

But could see

Nothing in front

Nothing behind

 

And lost was he

Trying to find the light

A light unable to be seen

But yet felt so close

 

His little fur ruffled

And he bumped into another

Another lost little kitten

Oh yes lost was she

 

He purred at her

Eyes open wide to her

And licked at her cheek fur

Happy and curious

 

Curious as the little kitten

She purred back

And asked why he was so happy

He said because I found you

 

Someone else to share

The darkness with

I’m not so much alone

And now I have you

 

They walked the darkness together

Tails twined and happy

For if you’re lost

Find someone

 

And be lost with them

Worry not

You will find a light

Even if it’s not the one you’re looking for

amazing... i love how you personalized the idea of finding your mate along a road, a road which even you are not aware of. i love the idea of how destiny isnt always as you think it will be like. i dont know if what i wrote is what you intended to write but to me it reached in that way. keep it up Lexi:)
