A Poem by Broken Hearted Faux

My fingers fumble on the bloody phone

Can't seem to see through the tears

That now sting my face

Perhaps from all the pain

Did I cut too deep

With my escaping knife?

I place the phone next to my ear

Screams.

All I ever hear is screams

Are they my own?

Am I trying to say something?

I can't tell.

It's just red scarlet drops

As the rain falls down onto me

And I sit in the puddle surrounding me

Bathed in the color I love so much

I crave it.

Bite my lip.

And scream to the sky

Scream loud

Lemme be your Jesus

Crusify me

Kill me

Burn me

Forget about me.

I'm not worthy to be remembered.

Just watch the rain wash me away

Like a forgotten memory.

Wow. This is incredible! I love all of the deep emotions in this. It's a deep topic to write about, and you did a terrific job. Great write!

Lol I was just listening to a Kanye West song and this sort of reminds me of it

Nice flow and rhythm, it's something that's deep along with a meaningful title, I especially loved the second to last stanza (I think thats what it is, either way the part where it says lemme be your Jesus)

Keep it up! Smooth work! = )
