Good Ole DaysA Poem by ButterflymomThrowing back Boone's Farm, And passing around a doobie Talking about changing the world
Ending the fiasco in Vietnam Marching, singing Bob Dylan and Joan Baez, And skipping classes at the University Moody Blues, Credence, Hendrix and Janis, sit-ins, love-ins, pot, protest, and getting arrested, Sitting for things we believed in, Waiting for the bombs to hit and the world to end Living life while we had it
Time is speeding up, Driving on the open road to ZZ top Making love to AC/DC, making waves in the waterbed Getting married having kids Selling out, and realizing that Kansas had it right, that "we are just Dust in the Wind" Growing old as f**k but still feeling, WE were the best generation yet Don't understand this "Generation X" Have no respect for Emeniem.
