To My MotherA Poem by ButterflymomA haiku string written for a contest.............You gave me life's breath and lessons for my journey, That are always there
Your passion for life, Sparkle that danced in blue eyes Lovely auburn hair
You fought hard, loved hard Spoke out against injustice Your song sang loudly
You gave me a voice And taught me to speak out, Always take a stand !
Important in life "are faith and education" You taught me that well !
The hardest lesson was teaching me how to die, with great dignity!
