Compassionate HealerA Poem by ButterflymomMany "healers" have been wounded and find themselves in helping others..........
The holes in my soul from the stab wounds And the punctures through my heart Causing me to bleed from my emotions That tore my world apart Shear unadulterated shame and hopelessness Left me laying injured in despair My soul is softly patched And my heart is stitched together Empathy and compassion now flows in veins once collapsed Has transformed me into a compassionate healer That no longer fears the night I lead others through the darkness And handle the thread so gently to heal their wounded souls While bringing them to the light
