School

         "Karma, you're gonna be late for class!" The girl shreiked. Karma stood up facing her friend. "Finally! Ya know, for a top student, you're lazy." 

          Karma pouted at her, "That's not nice, Nydia!" She threw a pillow at her. Readying herself, Karma frowned at her hair. "Why's it so white? Jeez, I hate this hair color." 

          "You could always dye it like Morgan did!" As if, Karma thought. She watched Nydia comb her semi-length, brown hair, feeling a sting of jealousy. "Anyways. we should go now!" She pulled Karma along with her, hurrying to the first class.

   Karma fidgeted and fretted wildly, waiting for class to end, she disliked writing class, and her mind always felt foggy near the window, hearing rain pelt against the glass. The mistress' words weren't making their way into Karma's mind, making it harder to concentrate. She felt a tap on her foot.

           "Hey, Karma, read the note!" A whisper flew into her head, Nydia mouthed "Shh." noting Karma to shut up. She unfolded the piece of paper casually: MORGAN'S GRANDMOTHER WILL BE VISITING, GO TO HER DORM TODAY AFTER SCHOOL IS OVER.

            That was a waste of paper, Karma thought, she could've just told  me personally. 

             "Okay, the assignment will be do by this day next week, choose to write about your family, hobby, or favorite book. Don't dilly dally either." WHAT!? Dear lord...
