Inner Strength

Inner Strength

A Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*
"

Spoken word of thoughts. Something different from me.

"

Words,

When used in the right context

Many mystical powers, unexplained.

Full of wonderous magnitude

In ways, the human mind could not comprehend

Even through mathematical conversions.

Pain, Anger

Unjustified human emotion.

When greed and ignorance floods

A world of chaos, like a disease

Spreading in the veins of humankind

Flesh eating, from the inside out.

Harness from within, for now.

Until push comes to shove,

Time heals all wounds, shows truth

True wisdom. Words from the wiser.

True heart, slightly broken but still alive

Facing the destinations that lie ahead

Upon destiny's path, a million keys to any door

Growing stronger with age.

Poetic, talented souls

Immune to the hatred

Scribbling, twisting words just so

Masterpieces of art forever

Engraved into the minds that feel the same.

Inner strength may take years to define

True meanings, secrets that lie hidden

Beneath the human soul.

amazing writting, every stanza is an "indipendent" world very well described and your skills make us get the link between them, last stanza is more like a "ok, the point is that" kind of thinkg :)
now, personally talking, i loved the 1st and 4th stanzas because just like you said:
"Masterpieces of art forever
Engraved into the minds that feel the same".
Just another note, loved this verse:
"True meanings, secrets that lie hidden"
it contains both an oxymoron (true-lie) and its opposite (pretty sure it has a name but i just don't know it xD) which is linking a word to another one close in meaning (secrets-hidden).
Great work

Wise words in this poem. Age and experience teaches us to be smarter if we are lucky. Thank you for the outstanding poem.

So true. We have to resurrect this inner strength inside every soul to make this world pure ....

I love these lines especially

Pain, Anger

Unjustified human emotion.

When greed and ignorance floods

A world of chaos, like a disease

Spreading in the veins of humankind

Flesh eating, from the inside out.

Beautiful poem :-)
