Honey-dipped flowers flourish

One thousand keys open doors

Nightmares fade to black.

Carry me to heaven

Candy clouds of my mind's eye

Stairway to the skies.

Into forever,

My yesterdays disappear

Petals in the breeze.

Reality dies,

Breathless - no need to wake up

Dreams, take me away.

Someone suggested I make some connectives with my haikus I've been trying to do lately. So I made an attempt to write one. Let me know what you think.

I do enjoy this piece very much. Getting lost in a dream can be both horrifying and wonderful. With descriptions this vivid, this is one place I would have no problem being lost in.
