Soar Into Freedom

Thoughts.

Seduced by the clouds, I am bewildered

Moving at a snail's pace in the breeze

Morphing into shapes at their own will,

Care-free in the heavens of our Earth.

 

My back to the ground in steady breathing

I am reminded of her peaceful nature.

A bluebird singing his own tune,

Atop a tree branch - leaves dancing in the wind.

 

Time freezes in this moment,

My imagination takes flight.

I need to forget what bounds my heavy heart

To the chains of hopelessness and despair.

 

Freedom calls my name from the clouds

As I yearn for a reason to let it all go.

When will it be my turn to grow a set of wings

And soar...?

I could feel the yearning, the need for freedom to be set free! Last stanza Perfect one!

Other than that, the whole poem has this aura of uplift-ness and it just kind of envelopes the reader, and I just have this desire to soar into freedom. However, you don't really need a reason to let it all go. In fact, everyone has the freedom to let it all go whenever they want to. You just need to feel that desire, and listen to your heart. Whenever I'm confused or in despair, I'd just spend hours alone, just me and nature. Best feeling, and you have phrased that feeling perfect. Love it.
