Heavenly Sunset

Heavenly Sunset

A Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*
"

The sunset has been beautiful lately.

"

Grey clouds

Fill pale blue oceans

Floating diligently

As the sun begins to set.

Colored hues of orange,

Pinks and reds above

Streams of ribbons

Shine and fall upon Earth.

Any moment, in expectance

Heavenly angels will fall

As it brightens the dark colors

Of the cool brisk autumn night.

Beautiful, firstly. But also wonderfully profound. You explain how in moments of simple appreciation of the beauty of life, one feels the touch of something divine, something heavenly. And, as you pointed out in your poem - "Beauty in the Darkness" - there is beauty in everything. So I guess then, the key would be to learn to see that beauty which is in everything. The moment one sees beauty in things, as you have so elegantly explained in this poem, one feels their heavenly touch.
