The Invisible Plan

The Invisible Plan

A Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*
"

Been seeing these on Writerscafe, so I decided to write one myself. A rambling thought in my head.

"

Have you ever looked down

Deep within yourself

Wondered and asked the question

How did I end up here?

Or how did I get this way?

All of us, on the same but different paths

Within our lives like going through a portal

Or some kind of tunnel directing us.

Between what we see, or have seen

And what we have on the inside.

We share the same battles within ourselves

Fighting our demons and dark thoughts

Like Dr. Jeykll and Mr. Hyde

The good versus the evil...

Side of ourselves.

I wonder if this is part of something

Something more than just God himself

A universal, invisible force of a plan

And we each have a role...

In this game called life.

Overruling and observing...

Is this our salvation?

Or our own destruction

With the deepest depths of humanity

As we cross paths and follow

To the end.

Oh yes I believe we all go through these questions many times in our lives... I think even we don't understand ourselves sometime, like why we do certain routines or like or dislike certain things. Coarse if we spend to much time looking for answers we will miss out on living in the present.

A thought provoking ramble.

I would describe it as a universal chess board. We all have role to play upon it, some stand on white squares while others on black. Some are black pieces others must be white. As life weaves it's course, some find they are destined to make certain moves, while others must go in a straight line. Some still are able to tilt the board itself, causing others to slide or shift. Some can control the lighting, altering the color of the pieces.
Everyone one has a unique roll, be it part of God's plan, the Fates, the Universes or one's own choosing. I do believe the game must be played in some fashion or we fail to know what it is to live.

Great Piece!

very nice. and it's states a great point. as humans we are constantly fighting against the forces in ourselves, to be good or bad, wants verses needs, etc. i think you did a wonderful job expressing that. :)

Nice Write. I love when contemplations come out so freely in verse. Keep it up. Who knows where each path will lead one... But advice from a friend.. Take the ride, enjoy the ride.. the ups and downs of this rollercoaster is well worth the ride, lessons, realizations all for you to explore, experience and enjoy... Live, Write, Love, and be free.
Loved it!

You question many things in this poem. Life is a journey to find reasons and purposes for our life.
"A universal, invisible force of a plan
And we each have a role...
In this game called life."
I believe salvation is the battle in our heart and minds to figure out what is right or wrong. I like the ending to the excellent poem.
