Monster

Why wont you just leave me be and forget me

Feeding off my memories

Attempting to regain my trust

Wanting me to forget the past

As you rot in your own disgust.

 

A beast that lies within,

A sinful decaying soul

Stabbing at my aching heart

Sent me spiraling out of control.

 

Nightmares haunt my mind

Trying to escape from your claws

Teasing me with your kindness

Locked tightly within your jaws.

 

A devilish monster

I will not give in to your lies

Forever I have been broken

No more tears fall from these eyes.

 

Please leave me alone

And stop haunting my beautiful dreams

Everytime you try to contact me

I'm still falling apart at the seams.

I loved this poem, enjoyed reading it very much.
I think it is a little heavy on the adjectives though. I think you could convey this idea with a few more images and actions more effectively
