Hell On A Leash

Hell On A Leash

A Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*
"

If you've seen the ad for a book entitled "Hell On A Leash" --it inspired me. haha

"

Torn by so many

And you are not the only one

Who has shattered my heart

And scattered the pieces of me.

Strong willed, I will survive

Seeking revenge upon all

My wings may have been torn

But I refuse to just wither and die.

Feel the sharpness of my blade

As it goes right through your heart

A final kiss on your sweet lips

Bidding you an eternal goodnight.

Powerfully written, and very well worded. Hell has no fury like a scorned woman. I think you did a great job with this poem. It's short, and right to the point. I can even feel your anger within the imagery. It's not a particularly pleasant image, but it teaches a good point. Excellent writing.
