Broken Angel

Broken Angel

A Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*

The world has thrown

away such an innocent one,

As the wings of her innocence

Become torn and broken,

Ripped from her spine.

With a shallow heart,

And nothing more than broken dreams

Clinging on to the life she knew

Her only thread of hope,

That keeps her alive.

Death calls to her,

Whispering in the moonlit night

Waiting for his chance

Her failure. Her demise.

He craves the broken angel,

Stalking her with baited breath,

Knowing one day,

She will fade away.

And she will be his,

For an eternity.
