Always In Your Heart

old piece, written and read for my mother's funeral.

My time is now over,

And my new journey begins.

In the golden gates of Heaven,

I leave behind all of my sins.

We’ve shared so many secrets,

Memories we’ve held dear

Through the good times and bad

We may have even shed a tear.

I know it hurts to remember

Knowing inside that I am gone.

Keep our memories alive,

In your heart I shall live on.

Shed no tears,

For we are not far apart.

In the hands of God,

And always in your heart.
