Sounds of WinterA Poem by *~*Butterfly Kisses*~*
Bitter cold nostalgia Keeps me awake - I need this memory to fade. So like the frost that bites at the skin, Forever my bruised heart is broken.
There was no light in your blue eyes, When the fires of desire that warmed us Burned the colors of my world into ashes Remains of black and grey.
I write away the pain you've caused, As I revel in the sounds of winter. The brutal silence that came from your lips, Frozen within my thoughts.
