Heaven

Written while I was temporary hospitalized.

Moments....

Beauty in the form of emotion.

Kisses on the lips of butterflies,

Making your heart flutter with delight.

 

In the eyes of love,

Temptation soars above cloud nine.

Lost in translation,

Don't wake me from this dream.

 

Moments...

Lost in the eyes of another.

Heaven is no longer just a place,

In the skies of a neverending universe.

 

Time freezes, gone unnoticed

In a powerful embrace of love and life.

Moments of heaven

That should never be taken for granted.

Author's Note

Heaven doesnt have to be a place, it can be in the eyes anf embrace of a loved one (family or other). Live for each moment, and never take any moment in life for granted.

Beautiful. When you're in the hospital, no matter what illness or injury you have, it always makes you think "Who was in this bed earlier? Why are they not in it now?" A lot of the time it's because of a full recovery, however a few cases end up down stairs in the morgue. Blissful moments should not be taken for granted. Nice poem.
