Madness

I have looked into your eyes

Countless times, searching endlessly

For the answers to burning questions

Forever burdening my heart.

 

Memories flood my beautiful world

As they twist and turn, spiral out of control.

Dark distortions of madness,

Wondering if there was anything at all...

 

Let my waking nightmares

Become sweet, vivid dreams of you.

Lost in your embrace,

And away from this madness.
