The washer

The washer

A Poem by Jasmyn Day

The washer
hums, drums, booms
The clothes
shaking, moving, splintering
The floor
rings, jingles, dances
with joy
mummbles, grummbles, complains
of the weight
spins, wirrs, jiggles
with glee
smashes, bashes, vibrates
the wall
the washer
dings
when done
