Sometimes I Wonder Why
A Story by
Bushra Naqshbandi
Experimenting with a story in 60 words. :)
It's been years since the last time we were together; decades since the last time we talked. It's been centuries since I first started missing you; eons since I fell in love with you. And yet, you continue affecting me like we met yesterday, talked hours ago, missed each other for a minute and fell in love a second ago.

Dear Bushra,
This was more than an experiment. It was spot on!
Funny how "time" seems to blend into eons, centuries, yesterdays and seconds.
When one is in love time stands still, or keeps rolling into eternity.....
Well penned!

I enjoyed how this prose poem opened and closed like an accordion. An exhalation, an inhalation, an exhalation. Thumbs up.

The example I like about the relative speed of time is the person who waits a minute for a kiss that lasts a minute, which minute is the longest?
