Reflections

A Poem by Malcolm J. Watt
"

Heaven cannot be thwarted for on earth is where it is found

"

ReFlections

If only I could be relieved

Of all the fools and the damned!

Comes the cry from the heart of any man.

But No. There is no relief

And no force that I know can change that.

Because it is given

That those so condemned

Are honored by love.

What paradox is this?

The thealogan from his books demands

We have it written here

It is as the Gods command!

What God or Gods do you understand?

Love knows his rightous ones

The hair shirt they must wear

In the filth is where the saints abound

Amongst the lost is where they are found

And few know what life shows

That love is all that anyone can sow.
